ARRM Leadership Institute

The Training

ALI is designed to develop both the necessary knowledge needed for HCBS organizations, but also personal communications and leadership skills necessary to manage programs and contribute to the success of their organization. Over the course of the year, ALI attendees will receive hands-on instruction for topics such as:

  • Supervising employees
  • Managing time and workload
  • Ethics and values
  • Coaching, leading, and delegation

The training is intended to build a cohort of trainees who will develop valuable connections with each other, learn and engage with one another. The yearlong program consists of four day-long sessions.

About the Program

The ARRM Leadership Institute, ALI, is a new training series for rising stars of Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) organizations. Developed by HCBS executives, program directors and training managers, this four-part program is designed to build the skills and knowledge necessary to become future leaders of the disability services world.

The People

ALI will be most valuable for rising HCBS professionals seeking to develop into successful leaders. The ideal trainee is:

  • Ambitious with high aspirations
  • Preparing for or recently promoted to managerial or other leadership positions
  • Recently hired and looking to build HCBS-specific leadership skills

ALI is open to both non-members and staff of ARRM members. Investment is discounted for ARRM members. The series is capped at 50 cohort attendees, individual session attendance is limited.

The Cost

Member registration for the full program is $480 per person. Attendance to individual sessions is $160 per person. Non-member investment is $675 for the full series and $225 for individual sessions. Credit for individual sessions may be applied towards registration for the full program, should the attendee wish to upgrade after attending their first event, providing space allows.
